Based on true events, IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack tells the story of the longest hijacking in Indian aviation history. The series takes place in December 1999, when a passenger plane travelling from Kathmandu to Delhi with more than 175 passengers on board is taken over by five masked hijackers.
