Robert Voets // CBS S urvivor has been gracing our screens for 50 (!!) seasons, rightfully earning its title as one of the best reality competition shows of all time. There’s just something about watching a group of castaways compete for a grand prize of $1 million that really gets our gears going, okay? Players get dropped off in a land far away, divided into tribes, fall into showmances, and compete in challenges with their peers for the title of Sole Survivor, as well as the cash.
Now that the 51st season is finally here (it premiered on September 23!), it’s time to meet all 21 castaways who will quickly become fan favorites. Oh, and fun fact: As revealed during the Survivor 50 finale, Survivor 51 marks the beginning of the franchise’s “Open Era.” What that means, according to host Jeff Probst: “Anything that’s ever happened on Survivor can happen again—at any time, in any order, without warning.”
Now here’s your one-stop shop to learn all about the contestants (and find out who’s already gotten the boot!).
