(Skip Bolen, Getty Images) Hudson has been noticeably absent from the Tar Heels news cycle this season, despite dominating last year, and Belichick himself has been a bit more low-profile during his second season in Chapel Hill.
Even so, Hudson hasn't been completely removed from the program. She has appeared on the sidelines of games this year, including against Notre Dame and East Tennessee State, and attended a high school game with Belichick in late September .
Hudson last posted a photo of Belichick on Instagram with them holding hands at Churchill Downs on May 2.
A source told TMZ that Hudson "has started seeing other people."
It's been a season of upheaval in Chapel Hill as UNC general manager and longtime Belichick confidant Michael Lombardi resigned amid an internal investigation in September and Belichick's son, Steve, announced his resignation as defensive coordinator two weeks later, while on medical leave.
The Tar Heels are 4-3 in Belichick's second season in charge, following an unimpressive 4-8 debut season.
Belichick and Hudson first met in 2021 on a flight, although that question is apparently a bit of a touchy one. During an interview last year, Hudson jumped in when Belichick was asked how the pair met, brusquely saying "not talking about this" before moving on.
The two went public in 2024, though it's thought they were together in 2022 or 2023.
Perhaps one of the most baffling things about this report is that, despite being more muted, Hudson is still very much around the program. She was on the sidelines for Oct. 3's loss to Notre Dame, and she was there for UNC's home opener against East Tennessee State.
