Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas has drawn from her years in show business to write her debut novel, Climbing in Heels. On Tuesday she talked to People about the page turner as she offered excerpts. And one of her stories has to do with the death of Marilyn Monroe at age 36 in 1962 as she offered a Hollywood insider's take on it.
