The aspiring actress and singer was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2019 after being convicted of culpable homicide for her role in ex boyfriend Steven Donaldson's "savage and depraved" murder.

Glass, who was 20 at the time, was found by a jury to have instigated and planned a brutal attack on the 27-year-old oil worker near Kirriemuir, Angus, in 2018.

Her co-accused Steven Dickie and Callum Davidson were convicted of murder.

But after serving less than five years in prison "manipulative and devious" killer Glass could be back on the streets.

The board failed to make a decision on her release back in February, insisting they did not have enough information on the case.

They will now meet again next month to make a ruling.

It is understood that Glass could be released within 24 hours of the hearing if the board rules in her favour.

If they refuse her parole bid, her case will be heard again in 12 months.

Speaking to the Courier, Steven Donaldson's sister Lori said she "remains hopeful" that the board will rule to keep Glass behind bars.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the parole board said: "On occasions where the panel has indicated it does not have sufficient information to make an informed decision the case will progress to a discretionary oral hearing.

"This will be scheduled once the panel is in receipt of all additional information they require and is satisfied that the hearing can then proceed."

Steven, from Arbroath, Angus, was found dead at a nature reserve after he was subjected to "extreme violence" by Dickie and Donaldson.

They armed themselves with a baseball bat, knife and a cleaver or axe before overpowering Steven at the Peterpan playpark in Kirriemuir, Angus, where he had gone to meet Glass.

The victim was then driven to the nearby Kinnordy Loch nature reserve car park in his own white BMW where he was fatally attacked.

The violent duo inflicted horror injuries on Steven, including severing his spinal cord in two places.

His attackers then set fire to his car.

During the trial in 2019, the court heard Glass, who was pregnant with Steven's child at the time, had written off a car he had bought for her and owed him money from an insurance payout.

She had also formed a new relationship with Dickie, who killed himself at Perth Prison in November 2019 after being sentenced to a minimum of 23 years.

We told earlier how Glass casually continued making sandwiches at a cafe when questioned about the murder.

A new Channel 4 documentary called Murder Case: The Digital Detectives has revealed how Glass was "emotionless" throughout the probe into Steven's death.

Detective Constable Nicola Annan, of Police Scotland, told how she went to a cafe in Kirriemuir where Glass worked to speak to her after Steven's body was discovered.

She said: "I went to the cafe where Tasmin was working. During this time Tasmin's behaviour I would say was quite bizarre.

"She continued to make up sandwich fillers and spread rolls and have general chit-chat.

"Bearing in mind this is her boyfriend who has been brutally murdered and she is standing there mixing up her tuna and onion."

The programme also showed recordings of Glass's police interviews where she stared blankly at detectives and gave a series of "no comment" answers.

In one clip, DC Annan is heard telling her: "Your demeanour has still not changed. You're still sitting there emotionless.

"You can sit and stare at me all you like, it'll not put me off."

DC David Budd, who also took part in the interview with Glass, told the filmmakers: "She is a very devious, deceitful individual.

Heart rate readings from Glass's Apple watch also showed she had gone home and slept soundly after setting up the murder.
