PHOENIX Suns star Devin Booker arrived at the Footprint Center in style on Sunday night.
The NBA All-Star guard, 27, turned up for what proved to be a gut-wrenching game for the Suns in a classic car.
Booker was captured parking at the arena in a jet-black Buick Grand National, which included tinted windows and a blacked-out grill.
He then stepped out and made his way inside, wearing black pants, a black suit jacket, a white t-shirt, black sunglasses, a black hat, and black leather shoes.
This classy ensemble drew the attention of fans who flocked to the comments section on YouTube.
"That's so perfect. He got the funeral outfit on to attend the Suns getting swept," one wrote.
"Funeral colors. Seems appropriate," said a second.
"Pulled up in all black for his funeral. Respect," commented another.
While a fourth said, "Classic car for a classic sweep."
Getting swept was likely not in Booker's plan for the night, but it's exactly what happened.
The Suns' 122-116 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves ended any hopes Phoenix may have had of an unlikely comeback in the series.
After the game, Booker told reporters he felt they had a good enough roster to win, but that alone wasn't enough.

"I don't want to keep saying that but it's a super important thing. You can't just go out there and think you're gonna win off talent."
For Booker, this marked his fourth consecutive trip to the Playoffs, all of which have ended in heartache.
The Suns ended the 2020 season with a trip to the Finals which they wound up losing to the Milwaukee Bucks.

The following year they reached the semifinals where the Dallas Mavericks got the best of them.
And in 2023 they returned to the semifinals again, only to be beaten by the Denver Nuggets on their way to a title.
This trip, however, may prove to be different for Booker as according to one reporter, he may have his eyes set on the exit door.
"Devin Booker wants to be in New York," Stephen A. Smith claimed on First Take.

The Knicks are currently knee-deep in the Playoffs, leading the Philadelphia 76ers 3-1 in the First Round.
They will face off for Game 5 on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden.
