Cats are known for their weird yet adorable antics, often leaving their human parents amused and confused. A recent social media post captured one such hilarious moment involving a feline named Miso, who developed a strange obsession with a bag until their owner discovered the surprising reason behind it. The Instagram user @meeloandmiso shared the amusing video, giving followers a glimpse into the daily shenanigans of their furry companions.
Cat’s unexpected bag obsession has his owner looking for an explanation
The cat’s obsession with a shopping bag takes a hilarious turn in the video. It begins with Miso’s mom watching him play with the bag. However, she soon notices that he is spending more time with it than usual.
Miso repeatedly taps the crumpled bag with his paws, prompting his mom to approach and check what has caught his attention. As she gets closer, she receives a surprise she never expected. The other cat, Yuki, suddenly pops her head out of the bag, startling Miso and sending him running away.
The owner cannot help but laugh as Yuki looks around, seemingly unaware of the commotion she has caused. It is possible that Miso hid Yuki inside the bag to play a prank on her. Alternatively, Yuki might have climbed into the bag herself and struggled to find her way out, with Miso eventually helping her.
After surprising her mom, Yuki sneaks back into the bag before giving her a hilarious side-eye. The feline appears determined to continue playing with her newfound hiding spot. In the caption, the owner describes Yuki as “crazyyyy” for pulling off the unexpected antic.
At the time of writing, the wholesome video has garnered over 397K likes and 3.4 million views. Netizens also flooded the comments section with their reactions. One user quipped, “guess cat’s out of the bag.” Another commented, “This was sooooo cinematically timed.” A third netizen wrote, “Cats are so entertaining they’ll just do things like this out of the blue.”
