Former The Voice Kids star Karen Silva has tragically died from a haemorrhagic stroke aged 17, due to bleeding into the brain by the rupture of a blood vessel. The singer passed away at around 5am on Thursday, after spending several days in hospital. Karen became famous after reaching the semi-finals of The Voice Kids in 2020. She was just 12 at the time. A statement shared on her Instagram read: '*Note of sorrow* 'It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of the young singer Karen Silva, aged 17, occurred after days of hospitalization at São João Batista Hospital, in Volta Redonda, as a result of a hemorrhagic stroke.
