Derby County's Ebou Adams produced a contender for one of the worst misses of all time against his former club Cardiff City. With Derby leading 1-0 in the closing stages of the Championship clash, Adams appeared almost certain to add to his team's lead. The midfielder bore down on an open goal after Cardiff goalkeeper Jak Alnwick had come rushing out. Although he was being tracked by a defender, Adams still had plenty of time to guide the ball into the empty net.
