A MOTOR enthusiast has revealed how a broken luxury automotive he purchased for just £18,000 was truly value a lot more.

The fanatic, who runs a YouTube channel referred to as M539 Restorations, stated he was trying to purchase a special motor aside from his ordinary favorite BMW.

He revealed that the long-lasting Maserati Quattroporte was on his record for a very long time.

He quipped: "I've been which means to branch out and broaden my horizons with one other brand for quite some time."

"Maserati Quattroporte has been on my 'I need to purchase that damaged listing'."

While looking for the motor, Sreten came throughout an internet site that listed a lower-trim variant with a V6 engine.

However when he checked the engine, he realised the motor was not only a widespread Maserati Quattroporte – however a high-spec GTS variant with a turbocharged V8 engine.

He stated within the video: "I was not interested within the V6 model, however upon wanting at the footage intently, I realised it was not a measly V6 however the prime trim Quattroporte GTS that may pump out 530 horsepower."

The Quattroporte GTS is a much more powerful variant of the regular Quattroporte that was between 2009 and 2013.

Sreten shared that whereas the uncommon motor had clocked an insane mileage of 187,000 miles, it was listed for just £18,000 – a particularly low worth for such a supercar.

He stated: "It was so low cost I decided to gamble and went for that purchase."

"The most cost effective [GTS] I might discover in Europe was listed for £30,000 this one was listed at £18,000.

"Apparently, there was no description and beneath injury it solely listed scratched alloy rims and nothing else."
